FERNANDO J BUSTOS

Bioengineer of the University of Concepciòn (Chile). PhD in Biological Sciences in Cellular and Molecular Biology, University of Concepción. Postdoctoral Fellow at McGovern Institute for Brain Research and The Broad Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA. Researcher at Broad Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA. In his postdoctoral stay he studies the mechanisms and areas of the brain involved in anxiety and autism spectrum disorders. For his research uses animal models that present the phenotype of the autistic spectrum, and through genome editing technologies tries to recover the behaviors and synaptic defects presented by them.

BERTA CRISTINA HENRÌQUEZ

Researcher at the School of Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, San Sebastián University, Santiago de Chile. Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Concepción, Doctor in Biological Sciences, Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Concepción, Chile. Postdoctoral researcher at the Biomedical Research Center, Universidad Andrés Bello, Santiago de Chile.

Experience in the area of transcriptional regulation, epigenetics, molecular biology. At present his research group is dedicated to analyze the epigenetic mechanisms involved with cellular senescence processes in murine models.
